#JRUFreedomWall13
I need your help in spreading this. I don't trust the other JRU freedom pages because I can't submit my entry with full anonymity.
Anyway, recently we've seen an influx of sentiments from students regarding inefficiencies of JRU. Most of which I agree. The problem is, I think we are pouring our frustrations in the wrong platform, and I think instead of students uniting against fighting the inefficiencies, mga students na mismo and nag-a-argue against themselves when in reality—tayong lahat ang biktima dito.
That being said, it is okay na we express in this platform, but it is not enough. Also, kadiri yong admin ng official page ng JRU. That's my personal grievance. Share ko lang. Tikom bibig ampota sa mga concerns ng estudyante.
As for the student council, walang balls. I mean yes, they are organizing programs and shit, pero I think it's for their own benefit para kunyari maganda ang credentials pag-graduate, pero kulang sa spine with regards to fighting for the entire student population. Personally, I think they do raise the concerns just for the sake of raising the concern pero walang kagat and pressure.
So ito na nga. In addition to the havoc here in social media, these are official emails where we can bombard them with our concerns. Publicly available naman tong mga to, ito dapat punuin hanggang sumabog inbox at emails nila:
[email protected]
Academic & Faculty Complaints (Deans' Office). If your complaint is about a professor's grading system, teaching behavior, or unfair treatment.
[email protected]
Actually, itong department na to, I personally think has no spine as "developing" students. Dalawang taon na ako sa JRU, I have not felt anything they created that "developed" students. Meron nga ba? Kasi kung hanggang enforcement lang sila ng disciplinary action, baguhin na lang nila name into Student Disciplinary Organization.
[email protected]
Pang triage lang tong email na to. pero dapat pasabugin ng reklamo to.
[email protected]
For sure, i-t-triage lang rin to. Pero punuin na rin ng reklamo. OOOOORRRR HEAR ME OUT! Hanapin sa Google Workspace or di kaya sa MS Teams ang email ng mismong president para diretso sa personal inbox ang mga reklamo.
Lastly,
[email protected]
"Escalating a private university like José Rizal University to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is your right as a student if the school fails to act on severe issues, violates regulations, withholds records arbitrarily, or inflicts unfair penalties. Because JRU is located in Mandaluyong City, your grievance falls under the jurisdiction of CHED Regional Office – National Capital Region (CHEDRO-NCR)."
Sinearch ko lang sa Google yan. I think expressing our frustrations here in Facebook will have little to no impact. So idagdag natin to. Wag na idaan sa student council, they are not in a position to make the call naman kasi. They are supposed to amplify our voices, but I don't see that the purpose is being achieved efficiently. Parang nagiging messenger na lang sila.
Thanks!
