#EDIBenildeFreedomWall1954 Question for CSB Architecture Students Hi! I’m genuinely curious and hoping current/former CSB Architecture students can shed some light. I live with someone who is supposedly already in their 3rd/4th year of Architecture. When they started, our family went all out to support them because we understood how demanding Architecture is—we prepared a large work table, bought a high-spec desktop for AutoCAD/3D modeling, and even an expensive MacBook. But after several years, I’ve noticed that I rarely see them doing schoolwork. They don’t seem to attend face-to-face classes, and I also rarely see them attending online classes. Most of the time, they sleep during the day, play games at night, and have a lot of free time to go out. I’ve asked Architecture students from other schools about their experience, and almost all of them tell me that Architecture is extremely demanding—lots of plates, drafting, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, projects, consultations, deadlines, and very little time to sleep or do anything else. So I’m genuinely wondering: Is CSB really that lax or lenient when it comes to teaching Architecture? Is the workload actually lighter compared to Architecture programs in other schools? Or is it normal for a 3rd/4th year CSB Architecture student to have this much free time and seemingly very little schoolwork? I’m not trying to bash the school or judge the students. I genuinely just want to understand if the experience is really that different at CSB, because what I hear from Architecture students in other schools seems completely different. Would appreciate honest perspectives from current students or graduates. Thank you!

I’m currently a freshman from another school, pero puro bad reviews po kasi yung nababasa ko, kaya I’m considering transferring to Benilde instead. I also passed the Benilde application na po, but I wasn’t able to submit my Hepa requirements because I didn’t really think things through at the time. Do you think po there’s still a possibility that I can continue my application or submit the requirements late? My main concern lang po talaga is the tuition since I know it’s quite expensive. May other fees pa po ba aside from the tuition? Like miscellaneous fees and other expenses? Umaabot po ba ng around ₱150k or more yung overall cost per semester? I’d really appreciate your thoughts po, especially if you’re currently taking Tourism in Benilde. Thank you so much po! 🥹
