For the first one, we were told that they were chosen because they offered the best value for money among the suppliers that were considered. The second photo shows a cropped version without the supplier’s name because, apparently, the supplier was changed. I thought the former offered the best value for money. Why was it changed? #FiatLuxFW14 It is true that the proposed shirt/uniform is not mandatory but then again there is a social pressure to buy. IF IT'S NOT MANDATORY, what is the reason behind the College of Law uniform then? WHAT is the purpose? Is it not better if everyone's included? If it discriminates those who cannot afford by saying it is not mandatory, what do the officers want from it? Uniformity? Clout? Funny how the same person, being one of those questioned regarding the unified shirt for the undergrad is again allegedly has involvement here. He's one of the officers pala pushing for the 700 shirt plus same supplier pa. What kind of protection does this prof/adviser/COL officer/student/futures boy have at very protected siya here at NWU? #FiatLuxFW12 College of Law was excluded from the Supreme Student Council’s unified shirt project. The unified shirt project where no students were informed about the supplier selection process. There was also no proper announcement and no school memo indicating that a new uniform would be introduced. COL was excluded but a separate shirt is now being proposed. The selection process is questionable once again. What’s more concerning is that the price of the College of Law shirt, which uses the same honeycomb fabric specification as the unified shirt, now costs nearly twice as much. And once again, it’s under the same supplier. Riddle me this: Which player is involved in all of this hullabaloo? #FiatLuxFW8 Kung itutuloy ang implementation nitong controversial unified shirt na ito, isa lang ang ibig sabihin nito: hindi pinakinggan ng SSC at ng iba pang nakatataas ang boses ng mga estudyante. Ni hindi man lang in-acknowledge kung ano ang nararamdaman natin. Puro lang meeting behind the scenes ang ginagawa. Simple lang ang solusyon sa problemang ito. Ayusin ang procurement, gawing transparent. Kung may mas mura naman na option with the same quality, bakit hindi ito i-explore? Sa mga flood control projects, anong ibig sabihin kapag rigged ang bidding? Okay, do the math. Yung SSC na dapat para sa mga estudyante? Sa halip na ipaglaban tayo, parang tayo pa ang kinalaban. Imagine that, instead of addressing the issue, he went crying to those above him and had letters sent out just to summon people who dared to speak up. Like, seriously? Bro, where’s your backbone? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You can’t even handle a few words online and yet you call yourself a leader? Pathetic. Leadership isn’t about silencing people, it’s about facing the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. But clearly, that’s too much for you. You want respect? Earn it. You don’t get to act all high and mighty when you crumble the moment someone disagrees with you. You’re not a leader; you’re a walking example of insecurity and fragile ego.
