#UEFW28689 #UEFW28685 anonymity has its dark side. but when a system is corrupt and the people we look up to for progress is betraying their positions and the people they should serve, anonymity can make justice more equal between the people in power and the regular people. lead by example, go direct, or file a proper complaint? in a perfect world they are enough. but we are filipinos. have you considered that the people that would review the “direct, proper complaints” are the ones who are misusing their power? the ones who turn a blind eye? what then?

#UEFW28686 4th year Biology students, sana do better. From the cheating couple, to the PMCS org officials, hanggang sa peers na nag-eenable and nagdedefend sa kanila, ang hirap makita yung accountability. Napapansin na kahit ini-ignore or dini-discredit niyo the discussions sa freedom wall, aware kayo sa mga posts doon. Alam din ng biology students na alam niyo yung nangyayari. Batch mates and juniors. Honestly, disappointing siya. There seems to be a pattern of staying silent, pretending not to know anything, and only reacting through social media likes and notes parinig. Then return quietly sa plastikan with other people when the issue has already quieted down. Walang direct na pag-address. Obvious din na ginagamit yung seniority and familiarity as protection. Kapag may criticism, mabilis tawagin na hate or attack, lalo na kapag hindi kind or official yung pagkakasulat. Pero if praise, ang bilis i-acknowledge. Kapag may kailangang i-own up, parang biglang wala. Kapag kino-call out, instead na i-address directly, mas pinipili na humanap ng supporters or magpa-vouch sa iba. Makikita rin yung pag-off sa status, pag-deactivate ng accounts, and ibang tao yung nagsasalita and nagagalit for you. If sumasagot man kayo, para lang maging framed as victims pa ng “smear campaign”. Siguro factor din na pa-graduate na kayo, kaya parang may confidence na wala nang consequences. Pero nakaka-affect talaga siya sa environment. Parang mas nagiging toxic yung atmosphere, which is not something we expected pagpasok sa program. Seniors should set an example sana. Kaya disappointing makita yung ganitong handling ng issues. Tapos later on magiging excuse pa ang mental health and personal problems. If i-callout, iiyak na be kind. Pero honestly it’s all used to avoid accountability. So when the truth gets told, walang sisihan na hindi magamit ang mental health and kindness to be kawawa, ok?

#UEFW28685 I don’t understand why some people post anonymous rants asking for change without even trying to address the issue directly. Real change happens when you talk to people, not when you hide behind a screen. Doing that often causes more harm than good. If you’re an officer, lead by example, go direct or file a proper complaint. Public rants without action just create drama.

#UEFW28684 #UEFW28675 that’s fair and all, but it should go both ways, right? people in orgs are subject to their own biases about their orgs and other orgs. so we shouldn’t take their word for it without questioning. but i agree stop the hate.

#UEFW28681 Just want to rant here, I would hate to be the one to bring other women down but nakakairita yung babaeng guard na nakabantay either sa gastam or lepanto gate. Kung makakutya sa outfits ng students and yung 'strictness' nya is on a different level, kala mo may importanteng bisita dadating or what e. Makikiraan lang naman kami sa ue to get seek silong from the hot weather to get to younivs (lepanto to recto) but hindi kami pinayagan. Nakaproper attire naman kami, given naka-civilian kami, and may id pa, pero kung maka-judge si ate kala mo may inspector everywhere sa ue e. Naka-off shoulder ako, yes, pero naka-jacket naman ako? My friend was wearing sandals but hindi mo naman sya halata/nakikita given her long pants unless titignan mong mabuti. All we wanted was to go through ue, and leave on the other gate kasi sobrang init na talaga sa labas. Asynch nga kahapon, which is why papasok rin sana ako to request a document from the registrar and pay for it sa cashier, pero ayaw talaga nila kaming papasukin? Kesyo hindi raw kami pwede pumasok kasi asynch, not wearing proper attire, and mas mabilis raw if we walked outside and around ue. Sino ba namang gusto pumasok sa ue if not necessary? We were literally just gonna go in, pay my request for a document, and leave sa other gate. Nakakainis lang na hindi kami pinagbigyan, and I know my rant sounds immature and ginagawa lang nila yung trabaho nila, pero sobrang init na ng panahon ngayon and halata naman sa mukha namin na pawis na pawis na kami, and siguro baka oa lang din ako and may bruised ego rin ako sa pag-"educate" nila samin. I've seen and heard this ate guard commit this things multiple times na rin, mang-judge ng outfits ng students, confiscating others things cause she deemed it 'not safe' (te, literal na pepper spray kinuha nya?), and letting other students pass. Not sure how it is for the other guards at other gates, but out of all the guards sya lang talaga yung napapansin kong ganto sa students.

#UEFW28680 PMCS officers can make a joke about the complaints all they want but the fact still stands that their credibility is coming apart in front of everyone.
