#UPLBFreedomWall22007 Hi! To those current/prev ABME students. I would like to ask, how is it like in ABME for the whole 4 years? Where are you now? Can a quali person survive the finance, accounting, calculus, etc. (quanti) side of the program? I know within me that math really is not for me— masipag ako, yes, kaya kong mapag-aralan, sadyang may short term memory ako sa math AND I'm worried how to know and familiarize all the calculations, concepts, formulas kapag nagsabay-sabay na lahat huhu. + is there any (paid) internships / part time jobs that is aligned with the program? (e.g. research assistant) and where can I apply? As an incoming freshmen under this program, it really is a huge help to read your tips and recommendations. #UPLBFreedomWall22006 May I ask ano po ang opinion niyo sa "Use every unfair advantage you have?". I have been seeing this quote everywhere, but I still don't know how to feel about it. As UP students, I feel like the desire to eradicate the unfairness in society has been instilled within us. But I really don't know what I can do alone. What I can do within my lifetime. Lately, I've just been feeling bad about any semblance of privilege I have. I know that the point is that we want to raise everyone's living conditions to be good, not the other way around where we lower our dreams and rights. But I also can't bring myself to be happy knowing that there is so much suffering and injustice out there in the world and we, as iskolars, have the great task of fighting for justice and the well-being of others. Paano niyo po ina-approach ang taking care of your own well-being and ambitions whilst embodying the UP Spirit?
