I’m so Disappointed in the Newfoundland and Labrador royal Canadian mounted police. On my way out from Stephenville 4 AM find a young girl alone on the side of the highway crying scared to death, pleading to call the cops for help said she had a warrant out for her arrest. didn’t know where she was Got dropped off by a strange man on the highway in the middle of nowhere. Call 911 for her they contacted the local detachment after waiting for 15 or 20 minutes. The cops called my cell phone and when I asked if they were on the way, they said they were trying to determine if they needed to come or not, I said didn’t you get the message? There’s a young girl crying for police said she needs help in the middle of nowhere on the highway. The cop sounded half asleep and said if you could give her a ride back to town that would be great. I don’t know what this young girl has been through, or what was done to her. And neither do the police and I guess they won’t now because I took her to town and dropped her off. I’m a little upset that I’m going to be late. Meeting my friends hunting but I’m much more upset at the Rcmp for how they handled that situation. My mind is blown and I made sure the RCMP officer knew how I felt. This is ridiculous. Make no wonder they can’t catch people with warrants out for their arrest , they are begging them to come get them and they won’t.
