I'm not privy to what goes on in the council, but I do know that an event like this should be planned way ahead, especially for one that's annually celebrated. It would and should take at least a month of preparation, continuous meetings, and writing of papers that are necessary for the approval of the event. So did you? Did you plan the event for months? Did you manage to submit your papers on time for the event? (*did you rush the submission of your papers?) Were you able to reserve the venues but somehow forgot the existence of MHAW and suddenly remembered it the week before the event? (Because you know you should be posting announcements and publications at least the week BEFORE the event, not at the same week and at the same day, because seriously what was that? Having everyone cancel their classes and plans for that day just so you can have your attendees???) Freaking Hell on Earth. I never feel strongly about event mishaps and whatnot, but the suddenness of this event was.. HAHA. This one felt like I was ambushed by an estranged friend, strangled and forced to listen to what they have to say. Anyway, I truly am glad that MHAW still happened. I'll have that than nothing. Only, I really reaaallllyyy just wish it was planned better. So, PPC, I once again congratulate you for executing MHAW. But any more praise, should you receive it, is a praise greater than what the state of your event merits.
