DB Tarlac Freedom Wall

Hi! Hindi ako patola kaso ang dami kong nakikitang eye sore.
1. You may have not violated copyright laws but just so you know you may have violated the proper use of school's assets (representation). 2. The school is hurting but who hurt them? Huh? Please check your grammar I guess before running a page like this. 3. If you want to speak your truth communicate it properly. Sure, you're spreading the word but at what cost? To publicize and air out scandalous remarks on students or staff? So people will talk about them? Is this the truth you're seeking? 4. News networks, vlogs, and blogs are not related to any educational institution. I'm guessing you are not a media literate individual kasi bira ka lang ng bira ng feeling mo tama pero sorry, hindi. Its easy to educate yourself kasi nakakahiya. 5. You were an alumnus, its a shame. I guess hindi ka nakinig sa MIL class mo. 6. How do you define a school's weakness? Mga rant ng students? Mga sumbong about how unfair the world is kasi nagupitan sila ng buhok? Touch some grass maybe. You may think you're not hurting the school's reputation but you are being a tool for bullying and chismis which is slander in legal terms btw. 7. Let me point out your wrong sense of freedom of speech because this is not freedom of speech. This is you being scared of accountability.
Hiding behind a page to spread 'truth' and advocate for 'progress' while demeaning others in the guise of 'giving them a voice' instead of going through the proper channels to talk and air out your grievances gives me the impression of the kind of people you are. Its sad that you have to resort to doing this.
Friendly advice, if you get identified as someone who runs the page, be prepared for legal action because pursuant to the Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the "Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012." The law penalizes libelous statements made using online platforms such as social media.
According to Respicio & Co. (2024), Even if the person is not explicitly named in the post, it does not automatically exempt the author from liability. The Supreme Court of the Philippines has ruled that it is sufficient for the victim to be identifiable through circumstances described in the post. This means that if other people can reasonably infer the identity of the person being referred to, the element of identifiability is satisfied.
For example, if the post contains details that allow the community to recognize the victim, such as specific characteristics, affiliations, or situations, the victim may still have grounds to file a complaint for cyber libel.
A common feature of freedom walls is the anonymity of the poster. However, anonymity does not absolve a person from legal responsibility for cyber libel. The post may still be traced back to the author using cyber forensics, and the platform itself could be compelled to reveal identifying information under certain legal conditions. Thus, anonymity is not a defense against cyber libel charges.
As Chappell Roan sang, I hate to say I told you so.
Goodluck, babe! :)
