I asked them how much they’d offer for a EN Nami manga at LP price, they quoted $550 and $318 after 60% for it, His reasoning is that, TCGPlayer and shiny is unreliable and they use CardMarket. And that US market would sell super high end cards at 90% or sometimes up to 110% and people would still but it And i checked cardmarket and it was $1600 for LP BUT $550 was the price for french version of the card 🌚 Mans was trying to scam us malaysians fr after that whatnot incident offering $318 for a $1600 @LP card and a $2000 @NM card which I think it’s still classified as NM.. that’s a whooping 20% for a card that’s almost 8k in MYR

I find his behaviour in the TCG community toxic—especially the lowball offers and what I believe are repeated attempts to mislead new players about card prices. At least Cheehong is kind at heart—his problem is his logic and the way he talks. With Bob, I’m concerned that he’s taking advantage of people just to maximise his profits. Be careful when dealing with him.

He admitted sometimes he just scalp not just to earn money but actually to deny others the product. As he say "If no one can get their hands on it, and I can, then thats how I earn". No wonder even shit sets like Pitch black and Chaos still being scalped.
