Please follow the UC Intercollegiate Debate Championship on Facebook if you're interested! ——— 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗗: 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻! 🚀🛰️ The University of the Cordilleras Speech and Debate Society, in partnership with the University Student Council, proudly launches the revival of the 𝗨𝗖 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 (𝗨𝗖 𝗜𝗖𝗗𝗖) — a platform where discourse is reignited, ideas collide, and voices rise beyond the static. In line with this year’s theme, “Restoring Signal,” we now officially open registration. The UC Intercollegiate Debate Championship (ICDC) will be held on June 24–25, 2026 at the University of the Cordilleras in a British Parliamentary format, featuring 20 teams representing the university’s colleges. We strongly encourage all 𝟭𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗼 (𝟮) 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 composed of two debaters each to take part in this celebration of discourse and competitive excellence. The tournament is free of charge and includes certificates of participation, with registrations open until June 20. The competition will consist of three preliminary rounds followed by semifinal eliminations for the top eight teams, alongside awards for the Top Five Best Speakers, Grand Finals Best Speaker, Champions, and 1st Runner-up.
