Allegedly the grandchildren of Gord (definitely without his knowledge) have created fake profiles & aligned with the fake profiles of Asif ( he has many, SP is one of them) to speak negatively of George. They are upset with the glowing endorsements given to George by the three most respected & long term councillors we have. Very hypocritical as Asif was the one that attempted a Pakistani coalition by arranging meetings to have 6 candidates step down in favour of one. Politics got dirty this year. Vote wisely.

#MiltonConfessionsandRants886 It is disturbing that we now have Six (or more ?) candidates running for office that are unable to prove or confirm their credentials of either claimed education or prior employment & certifications. Four are running for Mayor, One for regional council One for school board How difficult should this be ? Most of us proudly have it hanging on our walls. Especially if you have a PhD & note yourself as a Doctor. Should such embellishments & lack of complete transparency be a concern ? Is this just “back home politics “ coming to Milton ? Does the town of Milton have an efficient candidate vetting & investigation process in place ? Perhaps it is the job of the voter more than ever ? It appears that in the past it has never been a concern until this year & definitely moving forward. What changed ?

#MiltonConfessionsandRants885 Serious question: Who can we Miltonians contact to find out if the people that are running for these public positions are lying about their credentials (PhD, Master's, etc.)? It's crazy to me that is being normalized now. We have liars running for public positions. Think about Canada 10/25/20 years ago. This was not an issue. Is this how it works in the countries they come from?

#MiltonConfessionsandRants882 Where do people ages 30-45 hangout in Milton? Having a hard time finding anywhere to go out when I have a free night. Any time I try I feel surrounded by 20 year olds and feel super old. Trying to make friends and date at this age is terrible !

I no longer see the usual advocates telling others that they know more than others and that it is not a done deal. Now pop up a few AI data centres in Milton and we may have a few annoying citizens voluntarily relocate out of this town
