I honestly don't know if I should be offended by this or flattered. Is the text really so good that you automatically assume a robot wrote it? 🥲
Well, sad to say, this is entirely written by a human, Anon. :PP I just love writing, I happen to write the way I do, and I possess a wide vocabulary. I am pretty sure you don't know me, because even my closest friends can instantly recognize my exact writing style without me ever having to tell them it’s mine. Is it my fault that this is how I express myself? I am sorry if I write like this—but this is literally just how I cope with the suffocating anxiety of facing a 95 honor standard this school year.
Why is it that the moment a piece of text is actually articulate, people immediately jump to the conclusion that it's AI? Porque good writing, AI agad? Do students really just rely on those tools these days to the point where actual, human effort is treated like a myth? I know for a fact that a lot of people use AI as a crutch now, and honestly, it shouldn't be that way. It's sad that genuine literacy is being overshadowed by algorithms, but don't lump me in with that group just because I took the time to form proper sentences. 🙃
I wanted to construct a solid argument holding DepEd accountable, instead of just weeping over it. If they are going to expect students to perform at a 95 standard, then where is the excellence on their end? We keep preaching about quality education, but look at the grim reality on the ground.
Even the "Iskolar ng Bayan" recently highlighted how public school teachers are forced to spend ₱5,000 or more out of their own pockets just for basic classroom preparations, printing materials, and internet needs because the national trillion-peso education budget barely echoes inside actual classrooms.
When the very people molding our minds have to financially rescue their own classrooms just so we can learn with an ounce of dignity, how dare DepEd turn around and demand absolute, flawless perfection from the youth? They are simply passing the total, suffocating dead weight of a broken system onto our backs. As I said, if they're demanding an elite tier of excellence from us, then provide an elite tier of quality education first.
We are all about to enter the exact same meat grinder this year; can we focus on fighting the systemic problem instead of tearing each other down?
