Gets na gets kita, anon. Alam kong sobrang hirap ng magiging experiences niyo sa pasukan dahil sa changes sa curriculum and policies, naiintindihan ko yung pressure, stress, at bigat na nararamdaman niyo habang papalapit yung pasukan. Mahigpit na yakap for that.
I know how you feel lalo na't malapit na kayong mag-Grade 9. There is the pressure to constantly perform better or at least meet the expectations of the people around you. But don't let their expectations ruin you. Prioritize yourself.
I do believe that academic validation is very common and that's what makes us all academically competitive pero 'wag niyo hayaang maging lason yung acads sa buhay niyo. Have a healthy relationship with your acads. I-enjoy niyo lang yung magiging experiences niyo sa Grade 9. Mapa-play man yan or research o di kaya sandamakmak na mga tests at performance tasks, kahit patong-patong na yang mga 'yan, always choose yourself. Take a breather or a break. Matulog, kumain, maglaro saglit. These will help you a lot. Hindi man mawawala yung source nung stress kapag ginawa niyo ito, mababawasan naman yung tension at bigat na nararamdaman niyo kahit papaano HAHAHAHA. After ng kaunting pahinga, balik ulit sa gawain ganon. At least nabawasan yung stress kahit kaunti (plot twist: na-stress sa nilalaro WAG GANUUUUN!! emz)
As someone na nagdaan na sa Grade 9, alam kong mahirap. Pero palagi niyong tandaan na bukod sa sarili niyo, you can also depend on your friends and classmates. Choose your circle well, at magiging memorable at medyo magaan ang Grade 9 life niyo. Don't compete with one another. Work together. Form healthy bonds and friendships with each other. Wag niyong yurakan yung isa't isa. Palagi niyong suportahan and tulungan ang mga classmates at friends niyo.
At tandaan niyo na kahit anong mangyari, don't compare yourselves with other people or other batches. You're you and they're them. Every person is unique in their own way, mapa-acads man or hindi. Wag niyong sirain yung sarili niyo by comparing yourselves with others. Okay lang yung may role model kayo ganyan, pero yung ikukumpara niyo yung sarili niyo sa ibang tao in terms of performance to the point na lagi kang updated sa scores niya, sa mga pinapasa niya, sa overall performance niya, hindi yun healthy for you and to the people around you. Obsession na yun kapag ganun. Instead of comparing scores with your friends, classmates, or academic rivals, i-compare niyo nalang yung previous performance niyo sa current performance niyo. Track your scores and grades. Ayun yung gawin niyong motivation to do well in your acads, 'wag yung ibang tao.
Basta always remember, don't be too hard on yourself. Health (mental and physical) ang magiging puhunan niyo sa Grade 9 kaya ngayon palang, learn how to take care of yourselves.
