#NNHSFreedomWall555 Hello everyone!!! I'm just so glad that the freedom wall had been active once again!!! So anyway, I just wnted to share my new hyperfixation about Autism, and I kid you not I have been having suspicious if I am also in the spectrum. Take this post like a grain of salt. I think some of you people have a negative stereotype or stereotypes about autism or formerly known as Asperger syndrome, Kenner's Syndrome, childhood autism, or considerably childhood schizophrenia. Autism is a spectrum, so everyone in the spectrum varies by their "special" interest, motor skills, social skills, sensory issues, or even cognitive skills. To start, some of the things mentioned above are apart of autism, it's a whole buncha stuff going on in one person. Special interest or restricted interest if you may call it; it's like a very intense hobby for someone, specifically someone in the spectrum. A special interest can be anything; it could be a single object, TV series, or even a person. Usually, special interest, as I like to refer to it as personal interest lasts from months to years. Motor skills is basically the ability to move, some people tend to have difficulty in mobility. Social skills, it's obviously about interaction, the issue about Autistic people with social skills is that they interact quite differently compared to the Allistic (non-autistic) counter parts which can cause a barrier between those two. Sensory issues are either hypo- or hypersensitivity, hyposensitivity is the lack of bodily sensation while hypersensitivity is the overly sensitive bodily sensations. Usually, some peeps here tend to avoid certain fabrics, textures, or objects that makes them feel overwhelmed and panicked. Cognitive skills is what I consider to be the ability to self-manage and have more typical thinking. So yeah, I just wanted to share this to spread awareness!!! :'D Also, not every autistic person is what you've seen on TV or you've personally experienced, they have different personalities too. Also, not everyone can have a diagnosis for autism, plus, do you know how expensive it is??? Please don't say that "you don't look autistic", "you don't sound autistic" or even "you can't be autistic" because someone hasn't been diagnosed, it's as if saying someone can't be gay unless if a gay expert had officially claimed them to be gay. So anyway, have a good day!!! :'D and no I did not use chatai this is solely based on my vocabulary and what I've read.
