All I got was fried rice, one egg, and one fish fillet, and it cost me ₱135?! WHAT?! ₱70 for just ONE fish fillet is crazy. Bro, even if I didn’t want to say this, I’d honestly rather eat at Darlyn’s than at the cafeteria. The food is overpriced, and for me, it doesn’t even justify the price. Everything else is expensive, too, even the kwek-kwek and scramble. Damn, man, it’s like inflation went up by 10 years. 😭 UD, you’re serving students who need affordable food. Not everyone can afford to spend that much on a single meal every day. Heck, back when the cafeteria wasn’t open yet, the three food stalls at the back of the HS Complex were better. They served hot food, the meals were delicious, and the prices were more reasonable. I think the one in the middle was Hiraya, and if I remember correctly, they served hot meals and had a good ala king. I’m not saying the cafeteria should serve food at ridiculously low prices, but at least make the prices reasonable for students. We’re here to study, not to go broke just trying to eat lunch. 💀

#DLSUDFW #FW29644 Nakakadismaya yun media blackout sa CELE results, hindi man lang nabanggit sa official FB post ng La Salle ang university passing rate, even pati comparison ng university vs. national passing rate sa pice pinatanggal pa. Since when did transparency become a threat to our university's image? This is not about bashing UD. This is about accountability. Nakakapagod na laging students ang kailangang mag-adjust sa outdated systems and teaching methods while the people responsible for our education seem unwilling to reflect and improve. From CEAT management to the administration, we need to start asking the hard questions. Effective pa ba ang teaching methods? Qualified and equipped ba ang mga nagtuturo ng major subjects at compre? Are students getting the academic support they deserve? Neighboring schools are achieving significantly higher passing rates, even 100%. Instead of hiding comparisons, why not learn from them? Hindi sapat ang magandang buildings at La Salle name kung hindi naman kasabay na nag-iimprove ang quality of education. this is not about blaming students for failing, nor is it about humiliating professors. To be clear, this is about demanding accountability from a system that is supposed to prepare future engineers. If students are struggling, we should be asking what the institution can do better. We need to recalibrate the system, address ineffective teaching practices, and investigate legitimate concerns about review materials and academic support. Hindi personalan ang accountability. You cannot demand excellence from students while refusing to evaluate the system responsible for preparing them. Hindi natin kailangang kamuhian ang school natin para punahin ito. We criticize because we know it can do better. Sana maging wake-up call ito, hindi lang panibagong issue na lilipas at kakalimutan. Transparency over image. Accountability over excuses. Quality education over institutional pride. DLSUD students deserve better.
