#CDUFreedomWall10625 Transferring out of CDU was genuinely the best decision I ever made. That place completely burned me out and shattered my motivation to the point that I had to rebuild my entire identity and figure out how to study again from scratch. The environment and system there drained me to the core. Nag-usab jud akong panan-aw sa mga tao didto. The students act like adults with refined tastes, pero the maturity level? ZERO! It’s full of endless drama, toxicity, and controversy. Ang ending, if you’re caught in it, either i-ostracize ka, i-bully IRL or online, or dili man lang ka hatagan og chance or space to grow. Sobra ka PERFORMATIVE ug PLASTIC! It took toll on my confidence, my mental state, and my willingness to connect with people. To the point it affected my studies too. When I transferred, I literally had to rebuild my motivation and self-worth piece by piece. The people here in this school literally keep the gossip under wraps/to themselves or deal with issues themselves. And so far, wala jud ko gi-tratar og bati diri. Good for you if nindot imong experience didto—everyone’s journey is different. Pero sa mga tao nga nang-treat nako ug bati instead of focusing on their own lives: kung unsa inyong gipatanom, karma na lang jud ang mag-igo ninyo. Moving on and healing now, away from all that poison. ✌️

#CDUFreedomWall10624 I love how the first time I’m skipping a lecture to study for the cases and labs, the whole batch gets heat for having low attendance. Whole week without an independent study and you still expect people to show up to lectures that take 5-6 hours. I thought CDUCM would understand that not everyone learns through sitting in on lectures since they claim to be PBL and that the 5-6 hours of sitting through a lecture would be such a waste for people who don’t do well with traditional learning methods. Most medicine students enrolled to CDUCM because they boast their PBL/Self-Directed Approach but now they are holding lecture attendance against us? I don’t get it. No hate to the lecturers but this is the first time the batch had low attendance for lectures. Maybe they should ask why their students aren’t showing up for lectures and what they could do to improve attendance rather than removing consideration and extension privileges but then again it’s their prerogative to revoke those privileges. I guess it’s too idealistic to think that teachers would be more open and understanding to the individuality of their learners in terms of learning style. That’s just my take.

#CDUFreedomWall10623 Hi, seniors! BSN freshie here. I got a 4.2 in Anaphy during midterms, and I'm genuinely worried about my standing. 🥹 Maka-bawi pa ba ni during finals, or is it already too late? Has anyone here experienced getting a 4.0+ midterm grade but still managed to pass the subject? And if ever ma-fail jud nako ang Anaphy, unsay process? Do I have to retake the subject and automatically become an irregular student? Will it affect my other subjects next semester? I really want to do better, but I'm scared of becoming irregular and getting left behind by my blockmates. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Huhu, thank you!
