Hey,
You are a star and, like stars, you shine in your own way. Sometimes, you'll be dim, I hope you accept yourself when you are. Other times you'll shine so brightly that your joy and passion will show naturally. In whatever way you shine and whenever you do shine, be it dimly or brightly, I hope you keep shining for you.
You who have the capacity and likeness of stars. You with all your problems. You with the occasional doom and gloom. I want you to know that these are normal things that people, even stars, go through. When you struggle to smile, it's okay to cry, be angry, or seek refuge. Cry on a pillow, cry on a person, cry because it reminds you that you care enough for yourself to be hurt or you care enough for others that you were hurt by or for them. Let yourself feel every flurry of emotion and not hate it, accept it, because what's life without a little bit of failure or unmet expectations, no?
But I hope you also stand up afterward. When you're feeling down or upset, even for no particular reason, know that you are worth fighting for. Your person, your state of mind, and your life are worth fighting for; you should continue the fight. Continue to shine. Keep that light alive, okay? I believe you can do it.
You know, I like to think of the aimless stars in the sky as living things that look for connection, the reason why they shine. So, if you're reading this, know that yes, you are a star, but stars shine brighter and are more visible together. So, I hope that when the time comes and when you're ready, you share some of that light too. Don't burden yourself with the dim weight of the universe nor keep all the potential light to yourself. I hope you find the right people who love you, accept you, and uplift you to be the best version of yourself for yourself. Likewise, I hope you love them too, accept them for who they are, and uplift them to their goals. It's a cycle, of love :>
Once you find and can do that, then maybe, just maybe you'll learn to see others as stars too. Then, eventually, I won't be the only one looking at a crowd and seeing stars among trees and cars.
Love,
A
