There were moments when I chose training over rest, competitions over family time, and responsibilities over comfort all because I believed in the commitment made to us. What hurts the most is not only the absence of the scholarship, but the feeling of being overlooked. We gave our loyalty to the university, and all we ask in return is fairness and honesty. Promises shape decisions. When a promise is not kept, it affects not just finances, but trust, morale, and motivation. I am proud of what I have contributed to this university. I am proud to have worn its name in competitions for three years. Today, I speak not only for myself, but for other players who may feel the same disappointment yet remain silent. All we are asking for is clarity, accountability, and recognition of the effort we have given. We hope that our voices will be heard and that future athletes will not have to question whether promises made to them will be honored.
