#JFW3465 I WILL MISS ROTC HUHEUHHEUEHUE.... Just wanna say thank you for all the memories and experiences during our Saturday classes. Even though daghan sigeg yawyaw ari about ROTC, there are still a lot of students who genuinely enjoyed and appreciated the whole experience. From the early mornings, tiring formations, trainings, events, and random moments and unexpected friendship with buddies, everything became part of unforgettable memories. At first, some of us thought ROTC would just be stressful and exhausting, but along the way we realized it also taught us discipline, teamwork, confidence, and responsibility. Honestly, wa jud ko gamahay na nag ROTC ko.!! In fact, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! because of the experiences, lessons, and people we met throughout the journey. ROTC became more than just compliance for us it became part of our college life that we’ll always remember. Of course, not every day was easy, but looking back now, the struggles, laughs, and memories made everything worth it. Goodluck on your next journey, officers. Thank you for being part of an experience we’ll never forget. Stay safe always 🫡

#JFW3461 Honestly, the more I watch what’s happening in our country, the more disappointed I become. Corruption, misinformation, people in power fighting over positions, and supporters treating politics like a competition instead of realizing that ordinary Filipinos are the ones suffering the most. What frustrates me more is how selective people’s outrage has become. Some students only speak up when an issue fits their narrative or benefits the side they support, but stay quiet on other issues that are just as wrong. Why is the anger only present when it is convenient? Why do some people suddenly stop caring once it affects the politician they defend? Meanwhile, families are struggling every day because of rising prices, low wages, and lack of opportunities. People are working themselves to exhaustion just to survive, yet those in power keep focusing on political drama instead of solving the real problems this country has been facing for years. This is not about supporting one politician over another. At the end of the day, it is still the Filipino people who suffer no matter who wins their political fights. I just wish more students would become pro-Filipino for once instead of blindly following narratives, jumping on hate trains, or defending politicians like celebrities or saint. I really hope we should not normalize hypocrisy.

#JFW3456 A simple comparison between our very own Forward and TC. We don’t deserve a bare minimum student publication run by a bunch of bullies. The moment students give feedback or call them out, they respond like attack dogs instead of journalists open to accountability and criticism. When students ask for clarification regarding certain individuals from their league who are no longer even enrolled, they suddenly become silent as the grave. The real “Backward” isn’t their satirical entry. It’s the backward mindset and behavior they continue to show. And let’s be real. Today’s Carolian isn’t even paid for by the students anymore, yet students still end up receiving high standard journalism. Purveyor even gives better SSC election coverage than them. I can list more. Student publications should serve the students, not intimidate them. We deserve better.
