#Jewbridge1794 I’m really disappointed at the lack of LGBTQ+ Jsoc events this term. Not having an LGBTQ+ FND for the first term in years has been a real shame, as has the lack of pub night social. It’s such a shame the LGBTQ+ rep position has been turned into a joke. It’s made even worse by the fact that this comes at a time with antisemitism being rife within the broader LGBTQ+ community, forcing queer Jews to retreat from it, and with homophobia and transphobia still huge issues within the Jewish community and the country at large, having Jsoc (at least in past terms) extend a hand to LGBTQ+ Jews has been especially meaningful, particularly considering not all of us have easy home lives because of our identities
