UE Freedom Wall

Honestly, I saw that comment and napaisip talaga akoâimagine claiming to be from UE but speaking like that? It doesnât reflect the training and professionalism weâre taught.
Letâs be real, the level of training in UE is exactly why dentistry students develop strong confidence in their clinical skills. Our clinical training is strict and very structuredâespecially in prosthodontics where procedures are checked step-by-step. Hindi siya dere-derecho lang or pinapalusot, di gaya sa ibang schools na tuloy-tuloy lang without the same level of detailed evaluation. Every step is assessed, corrected, and refinedâkaya hindi ka basta makakalusot nang hindi mo talaga naiintindihan ginagawa mo.
And letâs be honestâour clinical training is hard. Kaya nga minsan makikita mo students nagra-rant sa FW about profs, but despite that, we still show up, we still improve, and we still meet the standards. Hindi siya madali, pero may dahilan kung bakit ganun kahigpitâbecause it produces competent and well-trained clinicians. Thereâs a reason why UE is recognized as one of the top dental schools.
Even in odontectomy, we perform procedures individually, not by pair, so we really build our own competence and responsibility. Hindi ka makakaasa sa ibaâyouâre trained to stand on your own skills and judgment. Thatâs how confidence is builtâthrough real, hands-on accountability.
More importantly, our professors donât just âpassâ students for convenience. You earn your cases properly, and standards are consistently upheld. Walang shortcutsâperformance talaga ang basehan. That kind of system shapes not just skilled clinicians, but ethical and responsible future dentists.
UE produces clinicians who are meticulous, disciplined, and patient-centered. Hindi lang skills ang dalaâweâre trained with the mindset that every procedure affects a real person, so quality and safety always come first. Thatâs something we take pride inânot arrogance, but the result of rigorous training and high standards.
So if someone claims to be from UE but speaks and acts otherwise, medyo questionable talaga. It doesnât align with the values and professionalism expected from us. Being from UE is not just about the nameâit reflects how you carry yourself, especially in public.
Also, letâs not drag UE into unrelated issues. The discussion was about dentists advising patients to avoid clinics without proper diagnostics like radiographs. Nadadamay lang kami unnecessarily. Sa person na nag comment nito, baka from UE ka nga, pero nagtransfer sa ibang school dahil hindi mo kinaya dito. đ
