As an older adult, you stand in an automatic position of power when addressing a teenage girl at work. She is expected to remain polite. She cannot answer back. She does not have the freedom you do in that interaction. Exploiting that imbalance to feel superior is not strength — it is smallness. A secure man does not need to assert himself over, and put down a teenage girl behind a counter. If you walked away feeling important, I hope you understand what that truly says about you. We live in a twisted world where it’s easier to get a sex change than it is to receive proper medical care for mental health! THAT is clearly what happened here! That is how as a society we have failed these poor children, their families, the teacher, the mother AND the shooter! Knowing someone who struggles with mental health I see first hand how hard it is for ANYONE to listen and take mental health seriously! It’s sick! The person either needs to be on their death bed or do something like this to even be taken seriously and it’s infuriating! I don’t care what someone does to their body… all the power to you if that’s what you choose with a STABLE and HEALTHY mind but for the love of God can some of these doctors wake up and recognize that mental health help should come BEFORE the hormone pills!!
