Thank you for taking the time out of your day, driving them to the hospital, and showing them the compassion they needed so desperately. If you are reading this, please know that your selflessness has given them newfound hope, realization, and determination to rise out of the ashes of addiction. Accidental overdose can be prevented by education and by being more open about the use of substances, and that's why stigma is such an important thing to combat.

11087 I woke up this morning and realized that I'm retired and I missed out on all the good stuff in life. I've never left Port, I married my High School sweetheart, went to work in the mill after grad, had kids and paid my taxes. That was my life. But I missed out on hanging out with the beautiful people at Jax Disco and Saphires, and been part of their closing time after party sex swares. I've never swapped partners and been to their parties like other couples have. Never been part of the town's sex scene with their three-ways and orgies.
